Getting there – From Como, via Argegno you can drive up the valley (15–20 minutes) or take a C20 bus to San Fedele.
Parking – There is limited parking around Piazzale Benaglio; arrive early or consider public transport.

Brienno’s Lakeside Christmas Market and Shuttle from Argegno (December 6th – 8th)
Although Argegno’s own Christmas market takes place a few days later, the weekend of 6–8 December 2025 offers another festive option: the Mercatini natalizi sotto i portici in the nearby village of Brienno. This lakeside hamlet, with its stone archways and narrow lanes, hosts its 11th edition of the market during two weekends – 29–30 November and 6–7–8 December – with a single opening time of 11:00–21:00
The Brienno CHristmas market features dozens of stalls selling creative sewing, stone jewellery, woodwork, honey, cured meats, liquors, floral arrangements, greeting cards and even recycled‑material crafts. Food stands range from onion soup and tripe to hamburgers, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. How to reach Brienno from Argegno
To ease access to the narrow village, organizers provide several transport options.
